Kokoriba Game Reserve comprises of 752 hectares enclosed by three-way electrical fencing. Controlled passive game capturing and holding pens with the latest technology were completed recently.

Kokoriba Holiday Resort can accommodate 244 people in chalets and 100 caravans in the caravan park.

Kokoriba is situated in the north-eastern region of the North West Province. It offers nature and wildlife enthusiasts an opportunity to explore open tracts of bushveld wilderness roamed by an abundance of wildlife, prolific bird life and unsurpassed botanical variety - all within easy driving distance of major urban areas.

Kokoriba is situated on the R511, 125 kilometers from Johannesburg International, 80 kilometers from Pretoria and 68 kilometers from Sun City (Pilanesberg Airport).

RESTAURANT

One of the popular features of Kokoriba Holiday Resort is our A la Carte Restaurant. Tasteful African decor and a mouthwatering menu ensure that the 50-seater restaurant is popular whether it's serving breakfast, lunch or dinner.

LADIES BAR

The fully equipped ladies bar with its mock-rock interior is a popular attraction, specially during sports events such as ever popular rugby and cricket. Bar lunches are offered at this facility.

POOL BAR

For your convenience a fully equipped bar has been installed by the pool area

SHOP AND CURIO SHOP

The Kokoriba shop is equipped for necessary holiday requirements with a reliable range of necessities that may have been left at home.The Curio shop on the other hand keeps stock of toys and souvenirs for those who want a trinket to remember their charming holiday.

POOL AREA

Our large, heated swimming pool that ensures comfortable year-round bathing for our guests is complemented by two well equipped entertainment areas. With pool tables, table tennis, darts, trampoline, spa, mini golf and volleyball, our guests have a assortment of activities to choose from. For the more energetic, we have a range of bicycles available for rent - a novel way to view our wide assortment of fauna and flora.

COMMUNAL AREAS

Part of Kokoriba's success has been built on its ability to bring people together. This can be attributed to our communal facilities, which have been designed in such a way that they encourage social interaction. Our main lapa which seats 200 people and has ample barbeque facilities and a full bar is complemented by two smaller areas for more intimate gatherings. The Makoro lapa can seat up to 60 people and the Boendoe lapa can accommodate up to 50 people. We also have a large, informal conference facility that can comfortably seat up to around 60 people. It is equipped with a big screen television, VHS video, flip charts and an overhead projector. This venue also has its own bar facility, storeroom and male and female toilets.

MAKORO BASE (IDEAL FOR GROUPS)

Makoro Base (Ideal for groups): Unit consists of 13 rooms, each equipped with a fridge and cupboard. Six rooms with three single beds each and another seven rooms with two single beds each. Communal kitchen. Outside communal area with outdoor barbeque (braai) facilities. Ablution facilities.

CARAVAN STANDS

GAME RESERVE

Kokoriba’s 752 hectares is covered by 60 kilometers of sand roads that are used for game drives and a 12-kilometer hiking trail, all of which can also be enjoyed by mountain bikers. The wide variety of fauna and flora makes bird watching and tree identification a delight. For those who are not well versed but still want to learn, Kokoriba’s trees are marked with identification tags.
